Selected projects: structuring ambiguous requirements, integrating existing systems and delivering reliable solutions under real-world constraints.
Selected Delivery Projects
AI-Assisted Infrastructure Delivery on a Live Platform
Private RKE2/GitLab platform · ongoing
I operate a production-style platform built around RKE2, GitLab, Terraform, Ansible, Helmfile, NetBox, Longhorn, MetalLB, MinIO, cert-manager, Prometheus, Elasticsearch and Kibana. It manages real dependencies and failure modes across DNS, DHCP, network devices, virtual machines, updates, backups, recovery and stateful applications.
Work starts with GitLab issues that define target state, context, dependencies, risk boundaries and acceptance criteria. AI agents inspect systems, work through terminal and SSH sessions, test commands, implement changes and document verification in merge requests. Destructive operations remain gated; dry runs, review, pipeline evidence and rollback paths are part of the operating model.

Git-Based QMS and Agentic SDLC Prototype
Private/internal · ongoing
Building on my regulated software-delivery background, I prototyped structured artifacts for URS, FS, SDS, risk, tests, release evidence and traceability in a Git-centred workflow. I also built a LangGraphJS agent console with an MCP gateway, persistent runs and verification workers. The goal is not maximum autonomy, but an auditable engineering process with explicit review points and clear accountability.
Domain-Heavy Enterprise Delivery Systems
Client and employer projects · 1995 to present
Across several industries, I worked directly with users, domain experts and stakeholders to model complex processes and translate them into maintainable systems, data models, integrations and operational tooling. These projects were rarely greenfield. Existing data, legacy systems, regulatory constraints and long-term maintainability were part of the solution.
Professional Project Selection
IP Management: Complex Import Module and API Integration
08/2023 – present · Senior Software Engineer · PAVIS GmbH (Questel Group)
Rebuilt and integrated an import module for intellectual-property data and maintain a substantial .NET API connecting legacy systems, external customer integrations and a newer internal application. Focus: domain modelling, data access, performance, correctness and incremental modernisation.
Web Applications in Chemical and Pharmaceutical Environments
09/2020 – 08/2023 · Senior Software Engineer / IT Consultant · anic GmbH
Delivered custom ASP.NET/SQL Server applications from domain discovery to productive use: production support, laboratory workflows, IT asset management with Active Directory, risk and environmental data, and automated regulatory reporting from complex goods-movement data.
ISO 9001 / GAMP 5 QMS for Software Delivery
12/2022 – 07/2023 · Quality Manager · anic GmbH
Built and integrated a QMS covering risk analysis, change control, CAPA, traceability matrices, validation artifacts, role descriptions and SOPs. The goal was a pragmatic development workflow that provides regulatory evidence without unnecessarily blocking delivery.
Optimisation and Data-Processing Systems for Logistics Networks
04/2004 – 09/2020 · Senior Software Engineer · focus consulting GmbH
Developed location, territory and NP-hard line-haul optimisation, OSM/OSRM-based distance tooling and geocoding workflows for multi-million-row datasets. These systems combined domain modelling, algorithmic work, performance optimisation and integration of different data and routing backends.
Earlier Context
International ERP and Administration System
04/2000 – 04/2002 · System Architect / Senior Developer · WTBT-Gesellschaft · Mexico City
As part of a major international project, I lived and worked in Mexico City for two years. I analysed business processes across a global organisation and translated them into foundational concepts for database, business logic/services and web-interface teams. The system covered HR, warehouse, production, shipping and administration. Working across domain, technical and cultural boundaries continues to shape how I work today: understand requirements, make structures explicit and turn them into sustainable architectures.
My additional earlier work includes Windows client/server applications, network and server operations, and NATURAL/ADABAS modules for hazardous-material management. This history matters because complex delivery projects often require understanding existing systems and improving them incrementally.
